Cairns Bay

This is a beautiful and not so know walk on the Mornington Peninsula - it takes through a stand of revegetated native woodland before you arrive to the windswept cliffs.

Tip: if you walk down the beach and follow towards east at low tide, you can try one of the amazing natural pools for a splash!

Medium 1.2km return track on a dirt road through the bushes from the car park.

The waves constantly break over the reefs

How to get to Cairns Bay in Mornington Peninsula?

This bay is half way between Cape Schanck and Flinders on C7777. If you drive from Flinders, take off to the left just before the key’s road junction.

Its about 2 km west off the road from Flinders Blowhole

The beach is very rocky, so sturdy shoes are recommended for the walk!
