Flinders Blowhole

This is one of my favourite spots on the Peninsula - its rather close to Melbourne (only 70 minutes drive), facing south - which is again rather important for me when going out shooting for night sky photos and in summer you can experience awesome sunsets.

The crazy thing is it's not really advertised and is at the end of a dirt road. You can walk down a boardwalk and walk across the rocks while you try to avoid being washed out to sea. Also has great rock pools at low tide.

This place is very popular amongst photographers for taking light painting photos.

Easy, 600 m track

How to get to Flinders Blowhole

Make your way down to Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula and the Blowhole is about 5 km further south west from Flinders on the left hand side.

Its not a well market dirt road.
