This is a great little hike: not too long, not too short, not too hard.

I especially remember loving the smell; it was moist, but not mildewy or anything. It smelled very fresh, and the greenery was lovely and if you return in the evening you can see the glow worms.

Just make sure you take a torch!

How to Get to Maits Rest

Maits Rest is about 5 km west from Apollo Bay (184 km from Melbourne) on the Great Ocean Road. If coming from Apollo Bay, the walk is on the left side - well signed short and easy walk with information.
