This place hosts stunning landscapes as far as the eye can see, home to the iconic Wineglass Bay, Honeymoon Bay and the Hazard mountain ranges. Anyone that has been to Freycinet will tell you just how stunning it is .
I am not good at words, so let me show you some photos.
This walk is one of the listed top 60 Great Short Walks in Tasmania and it’s a must do due to the famous iconic wine glass bay.
The 40 minute uphill walk is world class and worth every step. The views on the way up and once at the end will, however, not last in my mind forever. It is just because the day when I hiked it was raining. Pouring rain.
But - please, dont let the weather stop you. Its all about the journey and not the destination, right?
I am telling you again - the hike is worth every step.
And whats the big advantage on hiking on a rainy day? Having the whole track for myself and for that 3-4 other hikers.
Not sure who named this honeymoon bay, but I can see the perfect wedding shooting spot here.
I did not have, however, that postcard weather with turquoise water colors, but this is a fantastic little spot to just look at the amazing beauty or if you are brave enough to handle the cold, go for a quick dip - if its warmer…
Sleepy Bay is “just” another amazingly beautiful bay in Freycinet National Park.
The beach and its surrounding rocks had some amazing colours and effects even on a cloudy winters day.
You don't know what to expect, but the further you go down your mouth is opened by the overwhelming view. The red rocks are so beautiful, the caves nature has made… worth!
Okay this is not really inside the Freycinet National Park.
Tasmania is one of the most beautiful places that I have had a pleasure of visiting. The natural magic is all around you. To me, the sensations can only be named by few words, like untouched, extraordinarily pretty and like a giant national park. Truly a beautiful place to visit.
Amongst it all, located on the East coast of Tasmania is this incredible gem called Bay of Fires.
The slice of coastal heaven that is the Bay of Fires stretches over 50 kilometres from Binalong Bay in the south to Eddystone Point in the north. This beautiful part of Tasmania’s east coast has been named by Lonely Planet as the hottest travel destination in the world, and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful places in Australia.
