“You have been waiting here all this time?” Eddie whispered.
“Time”, the Captain said, ‘is not what you think”
This is exactly how it feels when visiting the Grampians in Victoria, Australia.
Only a three hour drive northwest from Melbourne center, this place is a wonderful spot to spend couple of days around.
It’s is nothing short of breathtaking. Brimming with natural beauty, you could visit several times and still not see all it has to offer.
I remember this day:
6 am woke up
7 am hike up
8 am melancholy on the top
Spent three hours with deep thinking on the top before starting the climb down.
Do you remember Adam’s first night in the Bible? When he lays down to sleep?
He thinks it’s all over, right?
He doesn’t know what sleep is. His eyes are closing and he thinks he is leaving this world, right?
He wakes up the next morning and he has a fresh new world to work with, but he has something else, too. He has his yesterday.
That’s what heaven is. You get to make sense of your yesterdays.
Time to see some waterfalls in the Grampians; they are just a simple reminder how amazing nature is.
